Martyn Maund and Philip Chaganis teamed up to form
ICON is TRAINING in April 2005 in order to
ICON is TRAINING formed as a result of Martyn and Philip being brought together in Chester on 26th January 2005 to run a leadership seminar for 65 members and guests of the Institute of Directors, North Wales Branch, entitled ‘Leadership versus management – A military perspective’. Judged to be a resounding success, this seminar led to another joint presentation being delivered by them at The Best Contact Centre Congress in Cardiff in April this year. The presentation, entitled ’Bottom-up leadership – Lessons learnt from the British Army’, gave delegates a fascinating insight into the British Army’s leadership principles with some valuable lessons being drawn from recent military operations. As a result of this exposure to the modern military approach to leadership and management challenges, many delegates felt that such lessons could impact positively on the ‘bottom line’ in their own businesses.
All organisations expect their people to demonstrate leadership and most people need training and guidance to achieve this. This is where ICON is TRAINING can provide proper but imaginative support to meet the clients' requirements.
